Next generation of UP board unveiled. UP board is single-board computer with really high power.
So, what hardware we can expect?
Of course, the price depends on hardware. The basic price is ?89.
The processor of UP? (UP Squared) is Intel? Celeron? Dual Core N3350 up to 2.4GHz or Intel? Pentium? Quad Core N4200 up to 2.5GHz.
The RAM is used LPDDR4 up to 8 GB (dual channel 64 bit), storage is up to 128 GB eMMC 5.0.
For communication with world you can use 3x 3.0 USB, 2x 2.0 USB or 2 gigabit ethernet. UP? (UP Squared) contains 2 HDMI output too.
On the board is another peripherals like SATA 3.0, mini PCI-e/mini card SATA and 40 pin header (connected main peripherals like SPI, UART, I2C and more) of course Raspberry Pi compatible. You can use 60 pin EXHAT connector for USB, UART, I2C and another.
You can also used onboard Altera MAX 10 FPGA.
For ?89 you get the version with Apollo Lake Intel? Celeron? Dual Core N3350 up to 2.4GHz, on board 2GB DDR4, 16GB eMMC.
For ?119 you get UP? (UP Squared) board with Apollo Lake Intel? Celeron? Dual Core N3350 up to 2.4GHz, on board 2GB DDR4, 16GB eMMC

The board will support Windows, Windows 10 IoT Core, Android and Linux distribution like Ubuntu, Debian and another.
The mass production begins in May 2017, quad-core version in April 2017.
